Presenter: Tabitha Ellison
Description: Neuro-variability is present in every learning space, and actually describes every group of learners. In this workshop, we will explore the many ways Neural Education and Universal Design for Learning support ALL learners to reach their full potential. Concrete examples will focus on creating a culture of self-advocacy, providing predictability, and co-creating whole-group and individual brain breaks. We will also collaborate to develop strategies that increase students’ access to their PFC and to structure content, process, and product using a UDL lens.
